I am a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over 20 years of experience since graduating from the University of Sydney. I am passionate about literacy development and I have a particular interest in language and literacy growth during the upper primary and secondary school years. I have extensive experience working with school age clients with language based learning difficulties in private clinics and school settings.

Watching my two beautiful sons progress through primary school has reinforced my fascination with language and literacy in the school age years. It has been helpful in my practice to understand the development of language for learning from both the point of view of a parent and a professional.

On the weekends I can usually be found on the sidelines of an oval watching junior sport and then relaxing with my family. I’ll take vegemite over peanut butter any day and definitely would never put pineapple on a pizza.
